We require 24 hours notification for rescheduling all classes in order not to incur the class charge. We enforce this rule to protect our staff as they often have a waitlist for certain time slots.

Q?

What is Pilates?

A.

Pilates is a low impact form of movement on specific Pilates apparatus which provides a resistance based push pulley system for a total body workout that focuses on strengthening the 'power house' which is the core/abdominal area, hips and thighs. Pilates adds flexibility, strength, muscle tone, and fluidity to your movement patterns. Pilates elongates your muscles whilst correcting your posture and skeletal alignment creating a beautiful long, lean, strong, balanced body.

Q?

What is C.H.E.K. Personal Training/Practitioner?

A.

The main difference to other forms of Personal Training is every client has a 'Body Mapping' in their first class, which means you are assessed before you are made to move. The benefit of this is it is a safer way to approach training because you will not be damaging your skeleton. C.H.E.K. stands for Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology, we assess your whole body physically, nutritionally, your lifestyle and your goals to create exceptional programs to help you reach balanced health and wellness. Every client's experience to reach optimal health is individual. C.H.E.K. trainers/practitioners complete programs and pass a rigorous battery of exams as well as show excellence in their hands on work in assessment techniques and application to receive their qualifications.
